FUN AT TUESDAY MUSE

COME ON IN, AND JOIN THE FUN

Stopping in this morning to join in the fun at Nancy's new meme TUESDAY MUSE, so come on in and join the fun. Sharing a few SPRING photos that I took on Saturday at the Dallas arboretum at the Spring flower festival.  Used Nancy's new texture on both of the tulip photos.  One part of this arboretum is that they  have a series of "playhouses " for kids, to see what different eras were like. This is the Texas pioneer area, and is so cute. complete with 2 pioneer cabins and a sod house. Kind of fun for me to see because my grandmother grew up on the creekbank on the Kansas prairie in a sod house. Her parents came there in a covered wagon and built the house, which they lived in all of her young childhood.  Can you imagine this?   Sort of like reading Little House on the Prairie.
BEAUTIFUL PINKS IN THIS FIELD OF TULIPS
LOTS OF  COLORS HERE, AND MANY TYPES OF TULIPS
LOOKS LIKE A FEATHER BED WITHOUT THE FEATHERS

IMAGINE THE SATURDAY NIGHT BATH

  2. love that little wagon. And the room.

I was looking for the link to the meme you mentioned but don´t fine it.

It was also hard to find where to post comments. You have a setting for white text on white page. :( Is it possible to change?

  8. No way....I was there on Saturday! We drove up to see my niece's cheer competition at the Dallas convention Center (what an experience) and stopped in to Dallas Blooms, but I have to say it was way too short...I felt rushed and didn't get the photos I was looking for. Didn't even have time for the cabins or Tee Pee. :( I hope I can make it back up....love the inside of the cabin, great shot!!

  11. I love that covered wagon. I was always kind of fascinated by the pioneers and loved the Little House on the Prairie books.

  12. I don't know what happened to my first post, but Google said "Error!" I did comment that the POV of the covered wagon "playhouse" is wonderful. And your tulips are so beautifully photographed and edited.
